Investments and priorities in the public sector are increasingly about social efficiency. In order for public authorities to make informed decisions, it's crucial that externalities are made visible and are considered.

The aim of this project is to identify the value of externalities of rural activity, as well as to investigate how these externalities are incorporated in current socioeconomic analyses that lay the basis for public authorities’ decision making.

The project is planned to be finalised in autumn 2015.
